I'll be watching this closely.. Not because I want to buy it but because I've had a 2009 iMac on Craigslist for the past 2 months and I literally have not had a bite (other than scammers/spammers).

also, SSDs are the best thing to happen to laptops ever. I can just grab the thing and go without worrying about the HDD. Also it is super fast... So why are you selling it again?

That's what my work laptop is and it works fine for me. It's got HDMI out which I plan to use for watching movies and whatnot. I haven't gamed on a PC since the 90s and don't really plan to start back up again while I've got a PS3.

I'm sorely tempted. That's a great price, but I know it won't get past the Finance Minister right now. We've got too many other things to pay for, and if you read my linked story, my boys need an object lesson on what happens when you break expensive stuff.

I will ask you this, though. How does Yosemite work on that machine? I have a mid-2009 that is my machine, and I'm still running 10.7.5. I'm not ready to go to Yosemite just yet, but I will have to eventually.

It works well in my opinion. Yes it's missing some features that Apple showcased during the unveiling (continuity for one) but just like all Apple Products, it runs very smooth. Not one bit of slow down that I've seen on my end.

I have a version of this laptop, except less powerful, a worst display (1366x768) and other things that aren't as good..... I would have loved to have those specs a few years ago.

I can't complain though, it was free from my dad's work. But it's not my main laptop, so I install stuff like Windows 10 on it.

Good luck selling it, besides the battery being terrible it was a decent laptop.
